Account Manager - Toronto

At Dash Agency, the Account Manager is responsible for the support and service of the client and the account team, working directly with the Supervisor, Director, and Partners on client projects. We have a track record of attaining and retaining new business based on our ‘Gen Z’ approach to building content while storytelling on social media.   • Handle day-to-day activities for assigned clients
  • Foster a good working relationship with clients, either through direct contact or in support of client needs
  • Remain current on all aspects of client marketing trends and other areas affecting clients’ businesses
  • Keep apprised of progress of clients’ projects from briefing to completion
  • Effectively present, sell, and defend all agency work/proposals to clients; support other client service team members in these functions
  • Assist in preparing client proposals, marketing communications, and strategic marketing and media plans
  • Regularly check for and respond to all client communication
  • Inform management regularly of account progress for all assigned clients
  • Coordinate project timing and budgets with all relevant agency personnel

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for clients, continuously fostering prosperous client-agency relationships to build trust and become a valuable resource to clients
  • Immerse yourself in clients’ businesses and champion stellar, business-building ideas while effectively collaborating to bring those ideas to life
  • Establish effective balance of advisory and advocacy skills with clients and team
  • Identify opportunities to help grow direct reports and advance them to the next level

Experience Designer (UX/UI) - Toronto

Dash is currently seeking a self-motivated, full-time Experience Designer (UX/UI).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years UX/UI experience.
  • Expert in Sketch and the Abobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator)
  • Conduct research and brainstorming sessions to develop user flows and compelling user experiences and leverage UX best practices to create user-centered solutions.
  • Propose new feature and improvement opportunities, and prioritize on effective and actionable designs.
  • Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
  • Validate designs through usability testing.
  • Create UI design deliverables including production ready assets, specs, style guide.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with developers, copywriters, and product manager.
  • Create branding and marketing related visuals when required.
  • An expert knowledge of latest UI design principles and techniques, and keep up to date with UX best practices, trends, and developments.
  • Must be a great communicator, able to work on multiple projects at the same time and be a master of time management.

Front-end Web Developer - Toronto

Dash is currently seeking a self-motivated, full-time web developer.

Requirements:

  • Your technical tool belt should include: HTML, CSS (Sass, LESS), JavaScript, jQuery, JS frameworks (AngularJS/VueJS/ReactJS), PHP
  • Advanced WordPress development experience
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks
  • Proven experience working with RESTful APIs on the front-end
  • Solid understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
  • Experience working with Google Analytics and Tag Manager
  • Must be a great communicator, able to work on multiple projects at the same time and be a master of time management
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written are very important
  • Be able to work collaboratively with UX/UI designers and product leaders to negotiate deliverables and change requests based on budget

Data Analyst - Toronto

Dash is currently seeking a social and digital data analyst who is in love with connect analytics to business results.

Responsiblites:

  • Working closely with Dash account teams to deliver regular reporting on social brand performance across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and the open web
  • Creatively applying statistical methods to measure sales lift and content performance

What we’d like to see:

  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and analysis
  • Familiary with monitoring tools like Brandwatch, Simply Measured, and Google Analytics
  • A bachelors degree in finance, mathematics, and/or behavioural economics
